Wolf Badge

Christopher earned his WOLF in scouts this year.  He has worked hard all year to earn this badge.  Last week, we attended his pack meeting where he received his award.  It was fun for Christopher to have his dad as one of the leaders.

Madelyn's First Day

Madelyn enjoyed her first day at Paddington British School.  Her teachers are Ms. Connie and Ms. Isabelle.  She has most of the same kids from last year in her class so she was happy to see them again.  I love that she has to wear a uniform to school.  It makes choosing what to wear so much easier! Next fall, she'll be in all day Kindergarten.  She sure is growing fast!!!

1st Day of School

First day of 2nd Grade for Garrett.  Garrett's teachers are Ms. Bacon for Math/Science/Social Studies and Mrs. Caporale for Language Arts.  Mrs. Caporale is from Ohio so I am sure she will love Garrett's Ohio State shirt that he is wearing.

Christopher's first day of 3rd grade.  Christopher's teachers are Mrs. Adams for Language Arts and Mrs. Mills for Math/Science/Social Studies.  

I hope they have a great year and enjoy their new classes.  

Madelyn's  preschool started last week but we were out of town so she'll start tomorrow.  She really wanted to go today but she'll just have to wait!

August Birthdays

Today, August 1st, my brother Michael and his wife Jill will welcome a new baby boy into the Wade Family.  Lexi will be a big sister to baby brother Cameron Michael Wade.  They are probably at the hospital as I type.  I'll post a picture when I get one.  Congratulations!

Baron Griffiths (left) and Christopher Griffiths in Ohio in 2003.  Baron is one month older than Christopher.  He is turning 9 on Aug 4th and we will be there with him this year to celebrate in Ohio.  (Baron is Matt's brother's son)

August 9th is my mom's birthday.  She would be 63 years old.  This picture was taken 30 years ago in 1978.  I was 2 and my mom was 32.  Same age as I am now.  Do we look alike? Happy Birthday, Mom.  I'll be thinking of you.

August 14th is Benton's 1st Birthday.  Wish we were there!  Can't believe it's been a year since I was in Utah holding you.  (Benton is my sister Suzanne's son)

August 27th is Matt's Sister Missy's birthday.  I won't say what number she is turning...

Please get rid of all the snakes before we come to visit tomorrow.  (She's had a snake problem in her house lately)
