Happy Mother's Day Weekend

I am proud to be a mother to three of the best kids. This is my 10th Mother's Day and I hope the next 10 bring just as much joy!

Garrett is 9!!

We had a great weekend celebrating Garrett's birthday. 9 highlights of his weekend for his 9th special day!

1. A surprise checkout of school to go to see Clash of the Titans.
2. Lunch at Cheesecake Factory.
3. Winning the last baseball game of the season and becoming the 8AAA National League Spring 2010 Season 1st place team.
4. Getting the Game Ball.
5. Playing lasertag and video games at Main Event.
6. Frozen Yogurt at Orange Leaf.
7. I-Touch. Garrett decided to put all his money together and get one.
8. Texas Sheet Cake and homemade pizzas for dinner.
9. Baseball cookie cake at school for lunch.

Wyatt Micheal Hudson

My sister's precious 2 month old baby passed away this past Sunday. Words cannot express the grief that comes from watching your baby sister suffer and blame herself for this tragedy. God has a plan in all our lives and though we hate to see a child return home so young, this is part of the plan and Wyatt fulfilled his mission here on earth. He will now be a forever angel to his mother and father. Wyatt's name means "brave in war". He was a fighter from the beginning. Though he spent the first three weeks in the NICU, he was a fighter and was always doing better than nurses expected. He was strong and brave and the light in his parent's eyes.

As we celebrate Easter this Sunday, we will be comforted to know that because of our Savior, Wyatt will be made whole again. I was explaining to my kids that children that die before they reach the age of accountability will automatically have a special place in the Celestial Kingdom, and Christopher replied, "LUCKY!!!". So, save a spot for us Wyatt, we want to be with you forever!!!

Wyatt Michael Hudson

January 15, 2010 - March 28, 2010

Our sweet little baby boy peacefully passed away surrounded by his Mom and Dad on Sunday, March 28, 2010 in Murray, Utah. Wyatt was born on January 15, 2010 to Beau Michael Hudson and Danielle Wade. Wyatt is survived by his loving parents, grandparents C. Michael and Lori Hudson and David Wade, great-grandparents Steven and Karen Hammer, Harlow and Dian Leavitt and great-great-grandmother Lavern Mitchell and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. We are grateful that Wyatt was welcomed home by his grandmother Patrica Berg Wade and great-grandfather Charles Hudson. In the short time he was here, Wyatt brought so much love and joy. His gummy smile could light up a room and put a smile on anyone's face. And to our son, Wyatt, you will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We love you so much and can't wait to be with you again. We love you, Wyatt. Viewing will be March 31, 2010 from 6:00-9:00 pm and one hour prior to services at Mountain View Memorial, 3115 East 7800 South (Cottonwood Heights, UT). Graveside services will be Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:00 am at Mountain View Memorial. Interment at Mountain View Memorial.
