I am going to say NO! My parents were the opposite. We went to one parade & my parents never did it again because they hated fighting the masses of people. So, I guess I got the anti-crowd passed down to me. It looks like you had a great time, though.
Actually the only time I enjoy a parade is when I'm walking the route--backwards. I guess I have ADD because I have a hard time sitting in the heat waiting for the next band or float to finally make it our way. I'm glad you enjoyed the parade though!
and sometimes the characters...
My mom would drag us to every parade and I must have that drive in me too...
